Stage I: drawing on hard ground + 45 minutes bathing
Stage I: proof printed in brownish red
Stage II: liquid ground sprinkled with toobrush + lines covered with liquid ground + 30 minutes bathing
Stage III: more liquid ground sprinkled with toothbrush + lines sligthly protected with brushed liquid ground + 20 minutes bathing. The print got too dark and needs to have more of a schiaroscuro effect. Time to start reducing the texture and softening out some lines.
Stage IV: started reduction using scraper and burnishing around the figure
Stage V: more scraping and burnishing around the hands and around the figure.
