The project Color Investigation in Intaglio is almost completed and the color references for the Graphic Chemicals’ oil inks are already displayed at the print studio at the Visual Studies Department. Hopefully, it will help students. The direct visual contact with the color can also help to register the characteristics of each especific ink, like transparency and viscosity interacting with the cooper plate.
Today, I will be working on my home studio press, testing Akua water based inks.
